About Background Remover AI

Background Remover AI helps sellers — of books, antiques, cars, and
just about anything else — turn a plain photo into a ready-to-list
product photo and description, in one step.

How it works

1. Upload up to 5 photos of the same item (different angles are fine —
   we treat them as one lot).
2. Choose a background color and output format.
3. Our AI removes the background and writes a short, detailed, and
   extended description of the item.
4. Download everything as a ZIP, or export a file formatted for the
   marketplace you sell on (AbeBooks, Biblio, Bidspirit, eBay,
   Catawiki, and more).

What happens to your photos

Nothing is stored on our server. Your photos are processed and deleted
immediately — the result is sent straight back to your browser. There
is no account, no history, and no database of past lots.

Who processes your photos

Depending on the settings in use, your photos may be sent to one of
these providers for background removal or description generation:
remove.bg, PhotoRoom, Google (Gemini), or OpenAI. Each provider has its
own privacy policy governing how they handle data sent to their API.

Export formats

We prepare export files matching the real bulk-upload structure of
several marketplaces (Bidspirit, Catawiki, Biblio, eBay, AbeBooks).
Fields we can’t determine automatically (like exact category IDs or
final pricing) are left blank for you to fill in.
